I have an Akai AM-1100 integrated stereo amp. It is a decent sounding, failrly powerful stereo amp which I have had for some time.
The problem is that a little while ago it blew up. More specifically, some of the components for the left channel on the pcb broke down (a couple of resistors mostly). I'm not sure of the reason for the breakdown, but am assuming aging components rather power spikes etc. I have tried to work out what the values of the resistors are, but because the pcb isn't designed symetrically to look at, I can't tell by looking at the right channel's components. Does anyone have a service manual for an Akai AM-1100 showing the amp pcb, or have any other suggestions? |
