Hi,
I am fault finding an old Pioneer SA-606 power amp. I'am getting the power rails jumping up and down at about 5 second intervals. Music comes in and then fades away again. This goes all the way back to the transformer output. The transformer is outputting roughly square wave output rather than the expected sine wave, suggests heavy transformer saturation, which suggests a faulty transformer. Any ideas, anyone got the schematic to make my job a little easier. Shoog |
