Part Substitutions- RPG60P06 and IRCP-54
Hello:
I have started to experiment with the Ayre V3 amplifier design based on the schematic that was posted by Charles Hansen. All for my own, non-commercial use. Is there anybody built a non feedback amplifier?? The one problem I have is finding good substitutions for the MOSFET devices: RPG60P06 and IRCP-54. I have been searching for a decent replacement but have not yet found one. A good friend of mine has an Ayre V3 that was "upgraded" by the factory. But I don't know if the "upgrade" included changing these MOSFETs or not. I don't want to open his amplifier up unless I really need to. Any suggestions? Thanks K |
