You can make pretty much any amp with these old stalwarts. The Krell KSA-50 is one. The Leach is another.

Hi,
MJ15003/4 are tough, good for 100W from 1pair on +-50Vrails.
and 180W from 2pair on +-62Vrails.

Select just about any, except the modern Hi speed schematics using 30MHz devices.

Could you be more specific as to some amplifiers / schematics that would not easily be made to work with those devices?
