I AM working on a Sumo Andromeda class AB power amplifier with one channel blown. The board topology is tight, and very efficiently constructed; and without a service manual it is difficult to work on. Where may I order a service manual(part lists ,diagrams, and schematic)? I have searched the Internet for hours and I can't find any service literature. Can anyone provide such technical information?

Send this guy an e-mail quick, and have him copy the service data for you.

Do a google search as well, I've come across the sumo andromeda schematic via that method. I had one a while back that I modded out. Wow!-- they sure as heck need it!!! Stock, they surely do suck the big one.

KBK - Just about all amps suck in their stock form, especially after the mods creep in. But I dunno, most of the time that seems like a tap that once turned on never gets turned off....

Did you ever get a manual? I found one at www.davidsaudio.com and go to the sumo page. The manual has a schematic at the back.

Digging up an old thread here....
I've just purchased an andromeda and was wondering what mods are recommended for this amp. Cheers, Ben |
