Thanks ACD,
This case is build from 2mm stainless steel and the knobs are massive stainless steel. Turning up the volume or changing inputs is a little bit like opening a big safe. It is all pretty expensive and very vulnerable to scratches but I am happy with the result. Plans for matching cases for a CD-player and DAC are currently on the drawing board. Yep, DIY is so much cooler than consumer grade stuff.

jleaman,
I'm interested in a case for a DDDAC and am interested in your designs.
Please email me with details and some idea of cost involved.
Is it possibile to have a design that allows use of frontpanel express.

Thanks in advance.
