Radford Audio Amps

Does any one know anything about Radford amps
i have a ZD50 stereo power amplifier its not working
i dont have a manual and Radford no longer trades
The amp needs a good clean and a rebuild

THE FAULT OR FAULTS IS IN THE POWER SUPPLY

When you say the fault is in the power supply please be more specific. Is there no output is the input faulty
Have you disconnected the power amp modules etc .
From memory there is nothing akward re the the power supply on the radford

Hi TREV THANKS FOR THE REPLY

THERES NO OUT PUT. THE POWER TRANSISTOR IS S/C AND
I THINK ITS A 2N3055 BUT I CANT READ THE NUMBERS
ON THE TRANSISTOR
OHM METER CHECKS ON THE TRANSISTORS IN THE POWER AMPS
SHOW NO FAULTS

In the mid-1970's the Radford pre-amp and amp were as close as you could get to Audio Research Corp. in terms of sound and were a little less expensive.
There is a very active Radford group on Yahoo Groups, some speaker discussion, mostly rebuilding the tube units but a good amount of discussion and info on the s.s. amps.
