- Working On My Home System Help Needed -

Hi all! I have lurked for a while but never posted I'll make it fairly quick...

I am coming from a car audio background and am familiar with the higher end brands and the components inside.

I feel like in home audio you get a whole lot less for a whole lot more...I need help with an amplifier choice...

I am looking at getting the B&W DM604 S3 set of speakers...I like their sound for conventional compressed type music...

I will be running these stereo and probably running my dvd player to them as well....my question is this....

What amp (integrated or reciever type) should I buy for this setup? I have no ability to build an amp myself but would be willing to pay someone to make one for me....I just feel like I am getting the shaft paying $1k plus for some of these amps...

Any help is greatly appreciated.
