I know this subject have been covered previously. But here goes again. I have built an amplifer. That at least in my terms sounds wondefull. To finelize this project i would like to have a measureing divice that prevents the amplifer fron statring up if the conected speaker has a sort or an impedanse lower than something like 1.5-2.5 ohms. The circuit should not be signal path but merely function as a load monitor that is disconected during the start of the amplifer. Is such a circuit feasible or is it just a spin in my hard controlable imagination.
