Mcintosh is very good in term of their class B bias power amp, I aso have a Bozak CMA 180 whch sounded musical. The sound is actually better then class A amp that is slkightly under bias, still a lot of current but perhaps 1.6 A bias instead of 2 A...
So why those class B amp sounding so decent, any advise to make amp bias in between to reduce the heat? Was is some kind of distortion cancelation?? tks and best rgds William Lee |
