Hi Fix!
A question regarding the power transformer: Is it the H1000-031F you have been using for your KSA 100mkII clone ?
If yes, do you know if they still are available? From who?

I have a electric motor step-control. I was thinking to slow down my drill-press enough to wind spool of wire. But, don't you need to wind completely inside and out circled plates? My Gosh, that would save tons of money even if copper is gold's little brother. I will wikipedia "transformers." Wonder if you can make toroidal trannies? I would put a bearing on the otherside of what even I would use as a spool to wind the wire on. So the drill press on one end and the bearing on the drill press vise. Yes, I am new to building power supplies.
