oops,
maybe i should better place the cap between the output and the speaker, and connect the other side of the speaker to neg. rail. Positive side of cap connected to the output, negative to the speaker. sorry my mistake.... HB |

It's not such a bad idea, I'm using Nichicon 10,000uf output caps on a HT amp whilst driving a friends irreplaceable speakers. Sounds just fine and the peace of mind (protection from dc) allows me to enjoy it all the more.
