Just in case you missed it, I am running a group buy for a scalable power supply. The board includes rectification, filtering and a regulator that is suitable for a broad range of voltages, depending on component selection. Positive and negative sections are completely independent. Board price is $5.
A parts kit is being offered for +/-15V @ 1A nominal operation. The parts kit includes LM4040-10 voltage reference. You can use a standard zener or LM329 as well. Parts price is $20.25 Voltages from 10 to 50V are possible with resistor changes. Lower voltages will require a different voltage reference. Operation at >50V is possible by using suitable semiconductors and changing the voltage reference current setting resistors. Also offered is an Avel Y23 series toroidal transformer with dual 115V primaries, dual 0-18V (may be 0-15V depending on test results) and mounting hardware. Price is $16,50 or less, depending on quantity. See Wiki Page for information This supply was developed to power active crossover boards. These boards are available HERE |
