Hello all,
Yesterday I was finally able to get my latest amplifier to work. It is the Option 2 dual rail version of the 1969 design that is included in the Design Notes article on the JLH website. I have a +/- 13.5 V capacitance multiplier power supply that seems to be working well. Just wanted to leave this tip for others who may wish to try this circuit. Use the recommended resistor values and powers from the original 1969 article to bias Q2. It wasn't until I did this that my amp would function. Mike L. |
