I recently explored some Japanese sites - they love DIY Audio (and photographing it of course!)
My Japanese is, err, weak
, so here's what I did...
Try using babelfish translation on altavista -
type "amplifier"
then select English-Japanese.
This returns three Japanese characters(?).
Cut and paste into Google and add "MOSFET" (91k+ hits) or "BJT" (1k+ hits).
My Google toolbar helpfully translates pages on-the-fly into English and there are plently of sites with schematics and photos

Understand that this is an international forum and that certain terms are racially derogatory in other parts of the world. I'm sure it was inadvertent (the word is a strong slur in the US but apparently not in GB), but please don't use it again.
