Hi,
For the 88 dB/w/m speakers in 4mx4m room, my friend is looking for a small amp to use with ESP P97 tone control and cannot decide which amp (P3A or BrianGT LM3875) she should use. ( She already have 25-0-25V 240VA transfer, diode and a pair of 10,000UF/50V cap, sinks, so the difference in cost doesn't matter). I wonder if any person ever compare this two amp? Any other advise are welcome. Thanks, |

im building a little souped up version of the p3a with current mirrors and a ring of two constant current for the tail, i feel that the p3a has alot of potential.

Hi nina,
I have both an Elliott P3A and a BrianGT LM3875 Premium Kit Version 1. Both are nice amps and she won't be disappointed. The components she already has, would be slightly more suitable for the P3A than the GC. regards

Thanks for all your suggestion.
PS: The SymAsym5 looks interesting but might be slightly complicate compared with P3A. Thanks anyway for introducing your interesting site. |
