amp required

Hi there from New Zealand. I'm looking for a simple solid state design of about 150-200 WRMS. I am needing to build 2 of these for stereo into a 2U rack case. Probably need to use torroidal trans. for space contraints. Is to be used to drive foldback wedges in P.A. app. Any direction appreciated.

many thanks for your suggestions. I think I have settled on a design to try. Will let you know how it goes. I am going to need to learn a little more about transformers i.e. torroidal vs laminated etc, before finishing the power supply.

Almost everyone sells/uses torroidial trafos nowadays.

But if you can find some laminated trafos
they will work just as fine!
In old thrown away electrics, there can be real good old trafos
almost for FREE.
You can need a shield between the trafo and amp,
if the input of amp is near to trafo.
But that is mostly not the case.
