My friend owns a 20 year old Neve Mixing desk. He believes that the sound has deteriorated, and says that these desks have a history of colouration because the Caps deteriorate with age.
I know that Electrolytics dry with age but not heard that about Tants.
Is there a recommend "best" brand or spec to look out for if we go down the route of changing them all?
