Hello,
I need values for bias adjustment in the amplifier section. I think about 9 mV must be ok. Has anyone an exact value or schematic? Thank you. - Boris |

Check your resistors. . .let's say 0.22 ohms and you have 9mV DC
across them. . .that would be 41 mA. . . it should keep everything open and working. Don't go over 150 mA is some thought. . . your amp will just be producing more idle heat. . . I have a Yamaha M-60 service manual and it specifies 10 mV. A good place to start. . . too little voltage results in too little current to keep your output devices open. . .thus distortion. The same manual specifies 110 mV for CLASS A operation. . . That heats the room. . . .keep it warm, but not hot at idle. . . Let me know how this works. Chris |
