Bias Adjustments

Check your resistors. . .let's say 0.22 ohms and you have 9mV DC
across them. . .that would be 41 mA. . . it should keep everything
open and working. Don't go over 150 mA is some thought. . . your
amp will just be producing more idle heat. . . I have a Yamaha M-60
service manual and it specifies 10 mV. A good place to start. . .
too little voltage results in too little current to keep your output
devices open. . .thus distortion. The same manual specifies 110 mV
for CLASS A operation. . . That heats the room. . . .keep it warm, but
not hot at idle. . .
