Rotel rb-1000 schematic
hoping someone can help.
i have connected speakers A left and right together on my rotel rb-1000 power amp and created a dead short. i have found 2 dead zener diods, one on the left board and one on the right. i have replaced these however the protection light still stays on and the relay wont clamp to power up the amp. when i desolder the amplifier board power wires leaving only the protection and rectification circuits operating the relay clamps. Any sugestions how i can find the fault? is there a schematic availiable for this model? i think they were built between 1979 and 1984. |
