I want a Pass X250 used, however its still a little out of my price rang. I was trying to figure out what other amps (old or new) that could be moded that would performer to the standers of a 250. I am not at the skill level as most of you but I have changed out caps and resistors in many tube amps.

Hi Frank,
Kit? Otherwise these will just be personal opinions. I can't offer one as I have not heard the Pass X250. Have you posted this in Nelson's forum? -Chris |
