Now that NP, the one and only, has removed service manuals and diagrams from passlabs.com, I thought we should compensate for that great loss of resource to our forum members, so i decided and encourage others too to come up with schematics so our members continue to benefit from our contributions, the circuit i present is a single supply hq class-b design that will be as good as NP's Aleph products if not better sonicly etc....
kind regards ps: please do post any schematic you wish to share on this thread whether it is your idea or not is not important ,thank you |

single supply high quality class-b design nice and simple, like an amplifier by Pass correctly setup, I am sure it will sound good Let me add my own pre amplifier, to go well along with your class-b I say it may sound better than some NP power amps! Amplifier: LineUp Pre1A Features: - Single supply, like a classic NP - Pure 100% Class A operation! - Very fast! - 4 transistors only - Two for voltage amplification - Two for output buffering

Nice idea guys, but before it gets going - can we keep this to your own, personal designs, rather than other people's please

There are plenty enough with threads providing schematic copying of amplifier done by other designers. Let us show our own amplifiers! Those ones we are really proud of.

Mastertech and Lineup, of what use are these circuits (except as concepts) without parts' values?
C'mon guys, show us what you listen to!!

Why I have no values? Two main reasons for this: 1. It all depends on what is in front of my amp. Source. And what comes after my amp. Load. These 2 factors decide what values will be in my amp. For best operation. 2. In this topic, we encourage people to do some little own work, do some little own thinking Instead of copying each and every thing we have done. ............................. I am sure you can figure some values out, cant you? Hint: Decide how much power/voltage your load needs. Set voltage supply and output stage from these parameters. Put in a suitable input impedance, that you source can drive.

I know there can be many variations of amplifiers built from your schematic depending on component values. In your 40 Watt Class-B What output transistors you prefer to use?

Here is one of mine - never published before As always it is real top class performance. What else did you expect
