Question Quasi-comp bipolar amp schematics

Does anyone have a schematic for a quasi comp bipolar output amplifier?

I've been cleaning the blackened components from one of my favorite sounding PA amps (beer + 99v rails don't mix ) and I was surprised to find it has an all NPN output stage. (16 Sanken 2SC3264 per channel) I've never looked into quasi comp outputs, I've always stuck to true complimentary.

Its an old Malcolm Hill design I believe, pre Chameleon. Gets very hot when driven hard but sounds really nice. Perfect for a bass amp, which is just what I'm after for a 3 way active speaker system I'm building

Hi BlackCatSound,

I recently posted this cct that I developed as a variance of a mosfet design.

It is part of this thread;

The cct is untested at this stage but if you can wait, I will try to do a board layout over the next few weeks.

Looks interesting, I didn't make it to the end of that thread first time around

Really I'd be looking for ~400W/8R. I'd probably use the 2SC3264 as I have to buy a pile of them anyway.
