Hi All !
First of all I want to say that I admire youre work and personal projects , and each one of you had a significant contribution to the diy world , especially to the amplifiers section, that I might say , it's the most accesible and approachable subject for the majority of us. If you have five minutes to take a look to my project and give youre opinions obout the good and the bad parts , y would be verry grateful. The power stage y've used is a verry fine sounding amplifier kit , and here is the reference schematic of the amplifier : http://www.elprod.ro/images2/sch0001.gif --> http://www.elprod.ro/power_amplifier.html, maybe for you it isn't such a big deal of schematic , but y want to say that y was impressed astonished by the sound of this audio power stage , a small description would be , a werry well controlled and non fatiguing base (pls excuse my eng) , verry clear and crisper highs and general feeling of high detailed sound , maybe y'm exagerating a little , but that was my first impression. The final stage is built around the IRFP240 , IRFP9240 The case is based on a copper pipe structure , this is one of the images that i took during construction : http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danip...oject1/10m.jpg More images with this project , and construction details you will find at this link: Romanian version for DiyAudio.com -->> http://forum.diyaudio.ro/viewtopic.php?t=55 More photos for this project. ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/10.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/11.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/12.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/13.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/14.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/15.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/16.jpg ![]() FOTO MARE  http://www.elprod.ro/diy/forum/danipasc/project1/17.jpg

Very nice!
I was thinking of using copper pipe for my Krell clone, but now I'll have to think of something different.

Very nice indeed. Are you planning on using a cover?
