I build the rod amp but some changes:i use bc549 and bc337/327 , the output power transistors are bd 907/08.too use less tension +/-21v.
And change the input capacitor for an tantalium type.1k bias resistor is now 330r The sound is more present and clinical The power is 20w My speakes are an LS70 Polk Comments |

Honestly, I would not use a tantalum cap in anything these days. There are far better alternatives with lower prices and better reliability.
