This is the reason you should always
8 Ohm non-inductive non-capacitance LOAD Resistor when you produce your simulations, graphs and specifications. Amplifier will plain and simple work much better and you will get good results and specs in your design if you avoid loudspeakers. Should be told in user manual of amplifier: 'Loudspeakers are not recommended, because this amplifier was created without. Best performance you get from using our highgrade 8 Ohm LOAD Power Resistors.' Quote:

Hi Darksog,
Please look at the chart here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...32#post794932. With 70v rails and a 2 ohm load 6 x IRFP250 (3 per rail) will quickly die. Cheers

You need at least 12 IRFP250 Fets to Play Safe.........

Hi Darksog,
You can choose whether to drop the rails or increase the FETS. The chart I posted can guide you. The chart shows you that for this amp PCB, 70 volt rails and 2 ohms is not recommended. If you can make them fit, go by Kanwar's suggestion and use 12. Cheers
