Arcam Alpha 5 MOSFETs replacement

Hi,

I have to replace the SMF045 output MOSFETs of my amplifier and I can not get these parts. Is there any equivalent MOSFET easy to get?

Can you give us any clues like supply voltage, output power?

Just go to the website of any of the big MOSFET manufacturers like Fairchild or International Rectifier and use their substitute part selector

Rail to rail supply voltage +37V to -37V. Power 40W + 40W

When Arcam was faced with this problem in their Delta 290 amp - IRFP240 was used to replace SM042. It is detailed in the service manual of the 290. Maybe similar info is in the service manual for your amp..............................
