Default De Medevoort amps anyone ?

I've sort of inherited a De Medevoort MA340 amp. These are completely unheard of here in England, and I've not found much info on the web.

Initial listening shows some promise; good detail and layering, decent soundstage, but a bit of grain and weak, soft bass.

This amp was made in Holland, so i was wondering if any of our Dutch forumites had any experience of it and whether it responds to modifications.

Any comment welcome. Happy new year to all

Thanks Guido, I had found that site.

Are they considered good/bad/average in Holland?
Are they considered equivalent to Nad/musical fidelity/Halcro

I gather de medevoort do mods to cd/dvd players, so I guess they are quite a small specialist company. Was just looking for some opinions. I don't think there are many of these out there.

I almost bought one once when I was shopping for a stereo amp. I found it pretty simular to demon amps (a bit better) 10 years ago.
In the end I choose the denon since it had a remote.
