You can build a quasi-complimentary power amplifier with DC rails of +/- 47v (at idle) maximum. You are welcome to use this circuit.
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...751#post781751 If you do, a couple of component changes need to be made so let me know and I'll work out the changes. This circuit will give you about 90 - 100 watts RMS into 8 ohms and about 160 - 180 watts RMS into 4 ohms. For a high quality and powerful stereo amp, the main parts you will need are; 4 FETS per amplifier board A 300va to 400va transformer (depending on the use of your amp) 2 x 25 amp bridge rectifiers 4 x 10,000uF 63v capacitors Other parts will depend on which circuit you select. There are a few in this forum that can be adapted. Cheers

For 25-35 watts I would build a chip amp. I.e. an IC based power amp. You can make these units on small PCB and you would easily get 5 amps and power supplies into a medium sized case.
Have a look in the Chip-Amps section for a design. There would also be plenty of designs on the web. Cheers
