Hi all. A few weeks ago I picked up a second hand vintage integrated unit, a Teac BX-300 DC integrated amplifier. When I hooked it up music played fine but there is some serious issue with the amplifier. Every so often, say 5 minutes or so, my speakers emit a loud thump, and I can see the woofers being pushed out to their excursion limits, then slowly sink back in. I'm not sure what is causing this but I'm sure its because of this particular amplifier. Does anyone have and idea of what it may be and how to go about repairing it?
