Mystery module/hybrid

Any of you older guys that have been in the business since the sixties recognize this hybrid module? Ran across it in my junk
and it brought back a few memories. It came out around 1973.
Maybe Nelson and Grollings will recognize it.
Will send some files later.

A model RCA model 2000 module, about 50W/8R. Quasi-comp output stage.

This last one for all intents and purposes is pretty much
the grand-daddy of the solid state amplifiers that followed,
and is almost precisely the HK Citation 12.

Yes! the Citation 12 was the most trouble free amp that I ever owned and it sounded good.
Would be interesting to build the 12 with the newer improved
transistors but my energy quotent/reserve is just about gone,
so maybe some of the young "Turks" on the Forum could take
a whack at it, could be interesting.

I'll bet those modules cost two arms and a leg back in 1974 ?.

No, I would like to say they were very expensive but RCA gave
me five modules for testing in 1973 which in return I give them data from the tests.
I still have three that I found in my junk last week. I think the other two were destroyed in the tests.

The 2500 was the 'hi-fi' version of the 2000. The 2000 had fixed bias and flyback diodes across the outputs. Same package I think.

Wow another blast from the past. My old Heathkit AR-1500A receiver of early 70's used almost the exact same circuit. that Receiver was rated at 60 Watts RMS Per Ch @ 8 ohms and 90 @ 4
