I am building a really nice pair of speakers. I am going to be making the rear ambiance tweeter an internally powered speaker. I am looking for a kit amplifier that can be easily assembled by a newbie. Sound quality if far more important then power. The tweeter it will be attatched to will be an ultra sensative ribbon tweeter, so I really just need a compact, ultra high fidelity, low power design for a good price. Any recomendations would be aprecitated. Thanks

Hi mp006ltk,
My S.K.A. would be ideal for your purpose with a clean sweet detailed audition and no on/off thumps, simple to construct and a steal. The kit contains all the (exotic matched) components including some Vishay resistors, WIMA PP, output proximity 105degC electro caps and double sided ground planed board. Size 2" x 4" not including supply. But then I'm the designer and not to be believed. Check my website. Cheers, greg |
