I bought a Tek WFM601A from an A/V production house closedown sale. The general product brooches said that it is capable of monitoring analog signal. After turn on the unit, it has many screens, this product seems difficult to use. I don't have a manual.
Is this device any good for DIY audio, such as double up as an oscilloscope or distortion measurement before I get rid of it? |

This unit is of practically no use in diy, but great use in broadcast. It is used to monitor and measure component video signals to a standard commonly called "SDI". SDI is a serial digital stream of 270MB/s. Tek site . I suggest you sell it to someone who can use it, and use the funds to buy something more useful for diy.
Send me an email if you want more info. |
