First off, sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
While not completely new to electronics (I built an IR receiver for my computer), a lot of the stuff I've seen on here is way over my head. What I hope is that some one can tell me how to build a simple stereo (and/or two channel) audio booster? What it is, I like having the headphones hooked to the T.V. so as to not bother others late at night. The problem is that the audio coming out of the T.V. is just a little too quiet. Obviously this would be very low voltage. I'm sure I could buy something that would work, but what would be the fun in that? Byam |

A small amplifier based around the TDA2822 should do what you want.
http://www.st.com/stonline/products/...re/ds/1464.pdf You could build this easily on stripboard and power it from a 9V battery. |
