They have used some inovation...the tuner was using Varicap diodes
and a sample of that voltage was amplified and sent to a VU meter installed into the panel, covered by a dark glass...so...while you were tuning, the needle moved showing you the frequency.
Nice...was very nice kind of analogical display.

I have a lot to show...but bandwidth may be a problem
Do not know, exactly, how forum management will accept that.
The modern Brazilian amplifiers have evoluted a lot....now a days they look this way.

do you have more information on the studior amps?
I am curious what circuit are they using and how the power supply could be enough for 11000 watts in only 17kg weight while seemingly its an 50Hz toroid?
