I have a good eye for IcePower but unfortunatly they don't sell their excellent modules to private persons. I wonder why? Maybe their OEM customers have to drop their high prices? A simple IcePower amp costs 3000 USD or more. The modules costs I think 100-200 USD!

Hi peranders,

Check out tripath, they have really good evaluation boards. I've experimented with them and they sound really good. But beware, these generate a lot of EMI you have to tackle, but that holds for all class D amps

Steer clear of ZETEX!!!
I built that 100W amp...Only to find that the inductor doesn't exist! You can order the 1000 version of the inductor but I think the minimum order came to over a grand!

You could wind your own, but I would suggest Tirapth's Class T. I have never heard a bad word against them and will soon be using my chips! They are cheap for what they are too...About £30.

Have fun,
Gaz
