Hello!
What is the function of the 2 or 4 ZTX transistors straight after the PSU caps? Regulating? Is this more or less applicable to the 405-2? What would the effect on the sound be? Cheers Tom |

Hi,
It converts a single polarity supply into a symetrical wit +, - and ground. On reason is it makes the transformer cheeper. Don't know of any effect to sound though. Örjan |
