i have just finished building a psu for my headphone amp
it's transformer + rectifier bridge + regulator + caps
now, the - (minus) from the rectifier bridge is ground.
my question is: should I connect it to the mains earth or not? i'm asking this because i see most wall wart have only 2 pins ...
thanks

First: Why do you want to connect it to mains earth ?
Next: If you do, put in a resistor (10R or so) in series to earth.... 😉
Next: If you do, put in a resistor (10R or so) in series to earth.... 😉
that means I shouldn't do it, right?
i tried to power up the psu, but the fuse (2A fast) blows...
i have no idea what could it be, i'll try "debugging" each stage
shouldn't be errors in the schematic, i just copied from lm317 datasheet

thanks i found the problem
the transformer is a 0-115 115-0 -> 0-9 9-0
wired as 230 -> 18
everything works now, and it works great btw
thanks for the replies

Va molto benne signore, il filo de colegamento inverso
Had mistakes in wiring...now the invertions were correct.
So, no more problem related ground....Va benne.
