All,
I have started working on a new front-end for my pre-amp using a PGA2310 digitally controlled potentiometer. Question I have is, according to the design guide, Ti recommends adding an opamp to the input to match impedances for lowest distortion. There are a bunch of designs on the net without the opamp. What are people’s experience using the chip and what is your recommendation for highest audio quality? Attached is a picture of my test board w/o opamp driving headphones. Overall, my initial impressions are positive but, just started so still a work in progress Thank you -ALBQ |
