Hey Guys,
Iv'e got an amplifier PCB here, from a long forgotten amp/reciever. It's missing it's NPN drivers, and output transistors, but still works,IIRC. (pulled the NPN's out for use in another project.) Somewhere around 100W per ch. I think. I'm wondering if I can replace all the drivers and outputs with different types, which I have on hand, inorder to get it working again. Original transistors are: PNP's 2SA1301 (output) 2SA1011 (driver) The mating, but missing NPN's,are,I assume: 2SC3280 (output) 2SC2344 (driver) Can I replace them with these? : PNP's 2SA1101 (output) 2SA1111 (driver) NPN's 2SC2581 (output) 2SC2591 (driver) Would that work? |

I don't recall the specs for those types, however if the specs are the same or higher (Vce, Ic etc.) for the new replacement trannies there should be no problem
Remember to check the pin-configuration before installing

Can’t find anything about it. /Hugo |

It worked nicely!
The amp actually sounds pretty good too! (after a little tweaking) I'm listening to it right now There's some rambling about it here: http://geek.scorpiorising.ca/GeeK_Zo...p?topic=1618.0 |
