Leach Amp Mod
Check this out, guys.
The Leach Amp Mod page is very interesting. http://www.geocities.com/dblue_research/PowerAmp bvp9223 |
I dont see much in the way of mods besides different transistors, compensation on the predrivers, and the removal of the high frequency feedback stage from the drivers. The schematic is slightly misleading as it shows only one pair of outputs when the PCB has 3.

I don't understanding the moving of the 390uf input cap outside of the input resistor. This defeats the RC input filter, to what purpose? That cap will load the preamp at high frequencies, for what reason? Don't see the need for the input coupling cap, either.

Hi jaycee, pooge
bvp9223 without doubt both topologies look good, however topologies dont make amps measurements do, cause at the end of the day precision wins and the sound is presice and beautiful, a product of art rather than science see you later guys cheers |
You're right, Jaycee.
I think that the simulation schematic and PCB schematic are different,; at least as you noticed. I probably try this since it operates at +/-60V. Let's see. bvp9223 |
That guy doesn't have a clue.
