I am looking up the acousto-optic modulator and deflector recently. I am really confused. What is the biggest difference if applying either one of them into optical tweezers? Both of them can do line scan. but i cannot figure out what is the advantage and disvantage by applying one instead another. Can anyone help me out with that?
