volume control similar like aleph p1.7

Hi, guys - have somebody of You seen some volume control similar to the volume control used in aleph p 1.7 but without any programable parts?

Do you mean with relays or the DACT volume pot ?

:cannotbe:

sorry - i forgot - i mean relays....ladder if possible - so that i have only two ressistors in series allways in every position (volume) - only

How about feeding a voltage to normally open reed relay DPDT circuit?

You could use a 2 deck 12-24 position switch.

But this would be over kill and is probably a bad design idea.

thnx for the reply - i would rather like a ladder with only 2 resistors allways connected - so my dac only sees constant resistance at his output - but with more than 24 positions- 50 or more would be preferable... :D
this could be made with relays but I don't know the schematic.... :(

This is an electronic attenuator. It has 60 steps

OH YESS!!!

so..... the question is what do we do now..... we don't want to develop it by myself (since my knowledge is in digital sence very limited) and it seems that there isn't any schematics to use from somebody else :::::(:bawling: :dunno: :sigh:

it would not be a bad idea but when, say, 50 positions are intended than one would have to have many resistor (possibly good quality ones) and that would be an overkill to my wallet.
pass soulution is better- less resistors and than combine then - unfortunately I don't have a cluze how to design it and or make the software for the thing...... :xeye:
