Default What can I use (better) instead of BC141/161

I have an headphone amp, with OP27 and BC141/162 per channel.

I' like to improve the sound quality, and I think the BC141/161 has poor quality.

Anyone knows the better one???

thx!

Default Not completely sure, but i imagine that BD139/140 will fit, or the small transistor

BC639 and BC640, that is the same transistor made smaller.

The BC639 can dissipate 1 watt only, can hold 1 ampere..... do not believe...better to believe 500 miliwatts.

The BD139 can hold 1.5 amperes, dissipation (real) is around 8 watts only, and can work in Radio frequency transmitters, up to 30 Megahertz without problem...so, the - 3 dB roll of will be not a problem to you

The gain is around 150.

I think will match your needs...let's listen to more forum friends.

They can correct me, if i am wrong.

regards,

Carlos
