Hi -

1 XPC 94HB 4 CEM-1 94V0
2 FR-1 94V0 5 CEM-3 94V0
3 FR-2 94V0 6 FR-4 94V0

FR4 - woven fiberglass base material; 94V0 refers to UL safety standard - how fireproof the boards are. Typical for motherboards and computer peripherals is #6 - FR-4 94V0.

FR2 is paper phenolic; CEM1 is paper with 1 layer glass; CEM3 is 'flies' fiberglass. XPC is the cheapest stuff, used for very low-end devices (i.e. calculators, remote controls etc).

Hi !

Sheldon, great work ! Have you already been able listening to them ?

Chuck, yes it's okay to have the profit for the costs of delivery and the beers drunk during that work...

Ethan, No3, the FR4 material would be the correct one.

Carlos, thanks for the infos, it's always nice to see symasym beeing built all around the world !

Mike

Mike, you may have gotten a bit confused there - FR4 is the #6 entry. It's in two-column format. Unscrambled:

1 XPC 94HB
2 FR-1 94V0
3 FR-2 94V0
4 CEM-1 94V0
5 CEM-3 94V0
6 FR-4 94V0

Cheers

Clem

Default Yeah!...my nephew is starting the work, today we gonna construct the transformer

reconstructing a 220 to 110 Volt AC transformer...it is a 1 Kilowatt trafo...it may work fine with a heavier gauge wire on it.

Here is the image of my nephew and the circuit to be made using a photo process.

regards,

Carlos
