I searched and searched, but can not find that link anymore does anybody have a schematics of an amp built on many paralel op's? thanks ed |

well i am planning a similar thing but it is multiple TPA6120s
paralleling amplifiers. macboy has a circuit there you might start from. |

Jan Meier designed an amp with multiple opamps in parallel. The special thing about this amp is that the output opamps have their outputs connected via different resistors to the power supply lines to create a kind of semi class A, with multiple breakpoints.

thanks, thats exactly what I was looking for. I need working schematics to lean on, dont want to reinvent stuff. That classA operation of op amp is a great thing, I have done it on my riaa preamp with noticeable sonic improvement. Highly recommended. Neutron7, I have a large supply of good quality op's, so I have to stick to them, thanks for info anyway. ed |
