hi all,
i have the opportunity to buy an old nad 7000 amplifier. apparently, "has worked great untill recently, it may have blown a fuse or something, the sound is very faint." i've never really troubleshooted an amp before - does this sound just like a broken pot or something? also, can anyone give me a guess as to what might be a reasonable price for this amp? thanks! -ld |

Hi stinkpot,
I don't think the outputs are blown if you can hear faint sound. Only testing will tell. See if there is an effects in/out or preamp in/out switch on the rear panel. -Chris |
