I have recently acquired an Allied 495 Solid State Stereophonic Receiver off of ebay for a very low price. After alittle cleaning and modding it was better then new. Right now I have Dual Thermaltaks 120mm Smart fans running off a secondary psu blowing on the heatsink to keep it from overheating due to me running 4ohm throuh 2 of the chanles. I wanted to know some backround on this reciever. Like what kind of power does it kick out? It has a stamp on the back that says 270watts but I think it is alot greater than that. Also some backround on Allied as a company and what this reciever was used as?
