Hi,
how old is the Electronics World article? Try asking them for permission to post on the forum. That way they get a free advert everytime someone reads it.

I asked him first but he didn't get my mail. I have no other email address for him. That's why I asked you.

Cheers,

Maybe try emailing him again, just to be sure

I don't know which issue it's from as Mike sent me the document. As for contacting Electronics World to see if we can share it, I thought about that (with Mike's permission of course), but that would lose them back issue sales, so why would they allow it?

Well of course you could just BUY the back issues - there's a revolutionary concept! EW Sept and Oct 2002.

Do I understand that there is a protection circuit out there that can be designed to follow the SOA curve of a given output device? I would be interested to see what it looks like.

Smashing article, Michael.

Very well written, a joy to read.
The LED-transistor Zener is very tempting.

Thank you, Michael, very nice of you.

Even read through it rapidly the moment i downloaded it.

Will carefully read it again tomorrow.
The Benjamin article seems to confirm what you were saying about the impedance driveability of the 6 transistor Leach amplifier on that thread.
